Sanders Glen Assisted Living

Sanders Glen is a not-for-profit Assisted Living Community located in a quiet country setting in the quaint town of Westfield, Indiana.  Our residential community is designed to meet the needs of adults aged 55 and over in a safe, small-town environment that is affordable to our residents and their caring families.  We understand each of our residents want to feel safe, comfortable and vital.  This enables all of us to live longer, healthier and happier lives during our golden years.  As a resident of Sanders Glen, you will enjoy a maintenance-free environment in comfortable, home-like surroundings.  You will feel safe and secure while maintaining your dignity and receiving services to fit your individual lifestyle.  Our many available amenities enhance the lives of seniors and offer the freedom to enjoy privacy and comfort in their own apartments.

Sanders Glen is conveniently located in Westfield, just south of State Road 32 and a mile east of US 31 and is only 15 minutes from I-465 N and 10 minutes from Carmel.  Our building is nestled among a quiet neighborhood setting, which adds to the home-like environment for all of our residents.

Assisted Living

We offer one and two-bedroom floor plans and levels of care in our Assisted Living senior apartments.  All utilities, except telephone, are included in the rental fee.  Small pets are also welcome for an additional fee.  Some restrictions apply.  Two dining rooms serve three meals per day in a buffet-style setting.  The range of serving hours offers the freedom to choose when to dine.  We also offer a full calendar of activities for residents who enjoy being social, both in and out of the building.  Transportation is available to weekly shopping outings as well as specially scheduled events.

Our Home Health options give the residents the freedom to contract with a home health agency of their choice.  We would be happy to assist with this process.  Services available through home health agencies include, but are not limited to:

• Postoperative care, Wound/Skin & Ostomy care
• Cardiopulmonary Care
• Congestive Heart Failure
• Diabetic Care/Nutritional Education
• Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies
• Individualized Personal Care

Sanders Glen offers a free fitness studio to its residents and family members.  The studio features treadmills, bicycles, free weights and other pieces of exercise equipment designed with the senior adult in mind.

Nursing Care

Our Director of Nursing maintains a one-on-one relationship with residents and works hand-in-hand with the resident’s physician and family to determine precisely what services will best serve their needs.  We understand that each resident is an individual with unique needs and preferences.  That’s why we meet with each resident and family to conduct an assessment, prior to move-in, to understand the need for assistance and support.  Our amenities are as follows:
