The Concert Study is a Phase 3 clinical research study with the goal of determining whether dimebon (latrepirdine) combined with Aricept® (also known as donepezil HCl tablets) safely improves cognition (thinking and awareness), memory, daily functioning, behavior, and the ability to care for oneself. Patients and their main caregiver will be seen at their study doctor's office about 10 times during the 12-month study. Who can join the Concert Study? People who answer "yes" to the following questions may be able to join the Concert Study:
1. Do you have Alzheimer's Disease?
2. Are you currently taking Aricept?
3. Do you have a caregiver who can come with you to doctor appointments at the study site?
