My grandmother’s chocolate pie recipe may seem simple, but it was legendary in my family. The joke in the family was that the only time she made pie was when my father came to town. Being the child that lived the furthest away, this was her motherly way of spoiling him. We lost my grandmother over a year ago, but her love for us lives on through her chocolate pie recipe. I hope your family enjoys it as much as we always have.
