Parkinson’s Disease 101 Parkinson’s Disease Psychosis at StoryPoint Troy
January 15 @ 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
January 15th, 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm – Parkinson’s Disease 101 Parkinson’s Disease Psychosis at StoryPoint Troy
StoryPoint Troy is hosting a bi-monthly Parkinson’s education event — and you’re invited! This event is for individuals with Parkinson’s disease, their families and care partners. This session’s topic is ‘Parkinson’s Disease Psychosis.’ Most people are familiar with the motor symptoms associated with Parkinson’s disease: resting tremors, limb stiffness, impaired balance, slow movement and more. But perhaps more unexpected are the nonmotor symptoms, such as hallucinations (seeing, hearing or experiencing things that others don’t) and delusions (believing things that aren’t true). These non-motor symptoms, when experienced as part of Parkinson’s disease, are known as Parkinson’s disease psychosis (PDP). Learn more about PDP at this free event. A complimentary meal will be provided by our culinary team.
Please RSVP to 937-440-3600 by January 15 to let us know you are coming.
StoryPoint Troy is located at 1840 Towne Park Drive, Troy, OH 45373
