This event is for people with Parkinson’s Disease, their families and care partners. We will meet to empower, socialize and learn. You are not alone in this journey! StoryPoint is pleased to be able to provide you with the guidance and support you need. This month, we will hear from Shannon Condon, CCC-SLP and Gina Boerger, PT. Shannon and Gina have specialized in working with people with Parkinson’s Disease for over 7 years and are both certified in the LSVT Parkinson’s therapy program. They are excited to share with you general education and tips that have helped many of their patients live their best life with Parkinson’s. Parkinson’s Disease can bring uncertainty to the future of those it affects, however, many people can thrive with the right “tools in their toolbox”. Informational handouts will be provided as well as demonstrations of specialized mobility and vocal techniques to relieve some Parkinson’s symptoms. A complimentary meal is provided during the program by our StoryPoint Executive Chef!
