Power of Attorney Support Group
February 28 @ 7:00 PM - 8:00 PMFree
Do your POA documents provide you sufficient authority to act on behalf of your loved one in an emergency? In 2018, North Carolina revised its Uniform Power of Attorney Act. North Carolinians, as well as those who recently moved here, should consider replacing their POA documents if they were prepared before 2018. Come to this month’s Power of Attorney Support Group for a complimentary review of your current POA documents.
Our featured speaker is Kevin Huston, an accredited attorney with the Carolina Estate Council Huston Law Firm in Raleigh. Kevin is a member of the Christian Legal Society and is the Law Affinity Chairman of the Regent University Raleigh/Durham Alumni Chapter. He has been invited by various organizations to speak in dozens of seminars and meetings throughout the state of North Carolina on topics related to estate planning, veterans’ benefits, elder law, and Medicaid.
Refreshments and snacks will be provided! This event is sponsored by Aware Senior Care, Integrity Money Management, Waltonwood Cary Parkway, and Waltonwood Lake Boone Trail.
If you can’t join this month’s group, continue the conversation with us on our private POA support group on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/327248744692162/
