Since 1985, a warm, friendly atmosphere, caring staff, and volunteers have made Worthington Christian Village more than just a place to live. Our vibrant community is now graced by the legacy of families who have chosen us not just once, but twice, as the children of original residents have now become residents, themselves. It’s a testament to the sense of belonging and fulfillment that our community offers.
When asked what makes Worthington Christian Village special, the first answer is always our people. Our reputation for high-quality care is proudly maintained by a staff who believe that “it takes a Village” in order to provide the best service to our residents.
Worthington Christian Village is a not-for-profit, senior living community, offering a continuum of lifestyle options with our Independent Living Cottages and Apartments, Assisted Living, and Health Care Center. Our 12-acre property is located just north of Worthington and overlooks Highbanks Metro Park. The beautifully maintained, wooded grounds have locations for walking and gardening, as well as areas for visiting with friends and family in the spacious gazebo or open courtyard.
“We grew tired of all the responsibility and upkeep that comes along with home ownership. We’ve been involved with the Village for more than 30 years and always knew we would live here someday. Our neighbors are wonderful, and we feel very blessed to be a part of this community.”
“My mom was a resident at the Village for five years and the community truly became her home. Everything from the staff to the food, to the beautiful grounds, were all things that brought her a lot of comfort. My family and I appreciated the convenience and security the Village provided her. The professional medical staff excelled in their treatment of older adults. I had a conversation once with The Village’s Executive Director, Randy Richardson, where he told me working at the Village ‘isn’t a job… it’s a calling” – this is true, I’ve seen it first-hand!”
“I always thought of my jobs in the past as just that.. work! This is the first place I have ever been employed that I don’t feel that way! It is like home and a family, I enjoy every day that I am here – from helping and visiting with the residents to the camaraderie of my co-workers; everyone here treats each other with love & respect. I cannot explain in words how wonderful it is to work here!
